Udawalawe National Park Private Safari

It was great!!!! Although we went in dry season our guide Asanka was the best, trying hard to give us the best experience , with the best route , looking for all kind of animals and giving us all the explanations !!! Top 🔝

Terrific tour. We saw so many elephants as well as deer, birds, reptiles and buffalo. Our driver was amazing at pointing out wildlife and was adept at manoeuvering the vehicle.

Really good tour. The guide/driver was really nice and experienced. We saw pretty much every animal you can see there (exept leopards, they are hard to spot) Thank you!

We had a wonderful safari seeing many many beautiful birds as well as elephants, crocodiles, water buffalo, deer and wild pigs. Our driver Darmasiri was very friendly and knowledgeable and did a great job to make sure our trip was great. He arrived on time and ensured we saw the sunset over the lake too. Was a fabulous evening safari, after doing 2 morning safari’s in Yala National Park the pace at Udawalawa is much more relaxed and drivers have a lot more respect for the Animals Only saw around another 30 trucks, Yala was probably around 300, saw Elephants, Kingfishers, crocs, Crested Eagles and much more

We had a great experience! Our driver Darmasiri was fantastic and very knowledgable. We saw such a range of animals, alongside many many elephants. There was also a smooth pick up and drop off back at our hotel. Couldn’t recommend enough.

The guide was extremely friendly and explained me everything about the animals we saw. You can feel his passion for his country ans the animals. Amazing experience !

Booked with crocodile safari tours and had a great time! Our jeep driver was excellent and really had ‘eagle eyes’ when it came to spotting things we would never have noticed. We saw many elephants and also various species of birds and a couple of iguanas. We also had the best view of the crocodiles as the driver had binoculars to let us use. Many other people we saw did not and they missed out! Suggest either take your own or ask if your driver has some. Personally I think all the tours should offer them!
